Hi there, and welcome to The Fjord Farm in Flåm. This place is something we’ve poured our hearts into—a mix of hard work, local traditions, and a deep love for the land around us. Tucked between the steep mountains and the deep blue fjord, the farm is our way of sharing what makes this corner of Norway so special.
The team behind The Fjord Farm is the same crew behind Njord, our kayak company known for low-impact adventures—and now joined by passionate food folks who care deeply about local, "kortreist" (short-travelled) ingredients. Together, we’ve created a space where people can slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and experience the simple beauty of life by the fjord.
We work closely with our neighbors who make incredible cheese, meat, and apple treats just next door. Everything we share with you is rooted in nature, tradition, and care. Whether you’re biting into a crisp apple from our orchard, learning how our grandparents used to preserve food, or simply enjoying the calm of the place—we hope you leave feeling a little more grounded, and a lot more connected.
